BCdiploma performs the following verifications: banking information, physical address, e-reputation, registration with the Company and Trade Register (RCS) or equivalent, DUNS number, intra-EU VAT number, identity of system administrators, and signatories of the user contracts.

How does this registry work?

In the BCdiploma ecosystem, the blockchain is used to identify an issuer by a unique address, which is used to certify the certificate data over the very long term. Only institutions whose legal existence has been verified can be registered in the registry of issuers. This registry is a smart contract which allows the public to view:

  • The name of the Institution;
  • Its blockchain address;
  • Formal proofs of identity verification;
  • An intention statement from the Institution.
