Directory of Verified Issuers

In the BCdiploma ecosystem, the blockchain is used to identify an issuer by a unique address, which is used to certify the certificate data over the very long term. Only institutions whose legal existence has been verified can be registered in the directory of issuers. This directory is a smart contract which allows the public to view:

  • The name of the Institution;
  • Its blockchain address;
  • Formal proofs of identity verification;
  • An intention statement from the Institution.
